Summary

This youth leadership council provides young leaders aged 10-14 an opportunity to be part of projects that encourage leadership skills but also allow for them to be the youth voice and create change in their local communities. Members participate in an adolescent conference where they speak on important topics relevant to what their communities are going through. Members also have an opportunity to participate in a local school project that encourages unity and support. To learn how to get involved, please contact carecoalitionaz@touchstonebh.org.

Project Includes:

  • Annual adolescent conference participation

  • Youth panel ( voicing out youth concerns )

  • Office of Population Affairs (OPA) youth projects

  • Public Service Announcements (PSA’s) through the local radio station

  • School projects (decided by members and accomplished by members)

  • Social media participation
