The CARE Coalition (Community Alliance for Resources and Education) is a group of collaborating community members, youth, local agencies, schools, and other invested individuals that aim to improve the health and well-being of adolescents in the West Valley. There are several councils and leadership teams that make up the composition of CARE since we hold inclusivity and diverse representation as guiding principles. The coalition values the idea of representing the 12 Sectors of a Community, as defined by CADCA (The Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America), which is a national institute that assists in coalition support and advocacy. These sectors help ensure that a coalition is balanced in community membership while also helping prevent one particular voice or group from dominating the decision-making.

Touchstone Health Services is the fiscal agent for the coalition, and Touchstone currently has prevention funding to address youth issues such as teen pregnancy, substance abuse, dating violence, and mental health. The CARE Coalition is vital to the success of these programs as they offer insight and action to address these central issues.
