4th Annual Adolescent Conference: Empowering Communities and Inspiring Youth

As we continue moving forward from the life-changing pandemic, we know that there are still many challenges that people are facing. A lot of those challenges are affecting one of the most vulnerable populations, our youth. These past years, we have seen increases in youth substance use, anxiety, difficulty and inability to connect with people, and their overall mental health and stability. Due to everything our youth have faced, this year’s conference will focus on rebuilding those lost connections and helping the youth better understand how these changes affected their growing brains. Youth attendees will engage in a two-part workshop where they will gain important information as well as an opportunity to practice the skills and information they will learn. They will hear from a fellow youth who has dedicated his time to engage and educate youth from his own experience, as well as hear from a youth panel that also has experienced or is experiencing some of the same challenges. 

We hope that this opportunity will allow youth to reconnect with each other and be inspired to go out into their communities to make a change.
