Active Parenting of Teens

Active Parenting of Teens (APT) is an evidence-based curriculum designed to meet the needs of parents and caregivers. APT provides participants with insight into adolescent brain development and examines the effectiveness of various parenting styles. Participants also receive practical information to improve the quality of communication within the family, which will prepare parents/caregivers to speak to their teens on subjects such as drugs, violence, and sexual health. Classes are offered in both English and Spanish.
